Otra pregunta a la que muchos nos solemos quedar en blanco es: ¿Dónde te ves dentro de cinco años? Que la pregunta no te pille desprevenido, porque suele ser muy típica. El motivo de esta pregunta es muy simple: el entrevistador quiere saber si lo que buscas es un plan de carrera dentro de la empresa o sólo buscas un trabajo, que son cosas muy distintas. Que esta pregunta no te deje fuera de juego.
Demuestra al entrevistador que tienes un plan en tu cabeza a largo plazo, pero que siempre es flexible. No puedes tampoco cerrarte en banda, ya que las cosas pueden cambiar.
No te pases. Quiero decir que tal vez sea muy exagerado decir que quieres ser CEO en cinco años si el puesto para el que te están entrevistando es de nivel bajo. Está bien ser ambicioso, pero hay que ser realistas.
Muéstrate comprometido. Cada vez que una empresa contrata a una persona nueva, invierte bastante tiempo y dinero en el proceso y por ese motivo quieren que la persona esté el máximo tiempo posible, así que tu respuesta a esta pregunta no puede ser que te ves en otra empresa o en otro puesto radicalmente diferente para el que te están entrevistando (ya veremos lo que luego depara el futuro).
