The beginning of the economy.

Always Troglo re talking about the world's oldest profession but rarely spoke of the economic process oldest in the world. It will be because there are certain things that arouse more interest than others. Perhaps one of the oldest economic activities is barter. Though it may seem a lie, still remains in place, such as "The Gift of Time of Cincinnati" in 1847 which created the first "Bank of Time", such as Wikipedia may explain better than me (and besides, I Monday) , I cut and paste:

A bank of time is a system of exchange of services by time. In it the unit of exchange is not money but a measure of time, for example one hour. It is a system of exchange of services for services or favors for favors. Proposes the advantage of promoting the social relations and equality between different economic strata.

Imagine, for example, that certain individuals, not being in need of money, it is time, and were willing to ask for a loan in terms of time. Thus, as in traditional financial systems, there is a shift (in this case time), from the surplus units to deficitiarias, in exchange for a certain profitability of course, paid in monetary or time.

I read in the finance section of Yahoo! a story entitled "You buy your house if I purchase mine" (in English). The concept of exchange houses has existed for a long time, but was used only for holiday. Now that the housing market in the U.S. is so touched, barter returns as an opportunity to change residence. Internet and technology has helped a lot with the creation of websites such as OnlineHouseTrading.

The truth is that the real estate sector has been very moved these years, while 13.3% of the park changed hands in less than three years.

The frenzied buying activity that has characterized the Spanish housing market sheds intriguing findings. When comparing the total number of transactions recorded with the number of houses that exist in each province that since the beginning of 2004, at which time begins to run statistics, 3.16 million homes, 13.3% of total park , Has changed hands.

Numbers Though curious what the news are not the numbers but it did not have statistics prior to 2004, shows without doubt that the opacity has been provided in this sector and how difficult it is to believe that you give any figure. I strongly recommend reading this article: The housing prices, who really knows what?

With regard to markets, is expected to provide a quiet day as it is a holiday on the other side of the pond, for now plays a small rebound after the blatant manipulation that we saw in the stock markets last Friday (futures contracts expired and had to disguise a little).

So I wonder, given that we fry a tax return to barter ¿some day?
