How far have we come?: Reverse Mortgages.
An interesting article published in "confidential" under the title: "The reverse mortgage as an example of an unsustainable economic model and perverse."
I note the following comments, to which I can not agree more:
- We're eating our children's inheritance: usually the houses. And what is worse. Highlights the absurdity of an economic model based on unsustainable consumption in the short term resources that future generations should enjoy.
- The reverse mortgage, therefore, must be placed on the same level as other problems now that governments in turn are unable to cope with them. There are issues such as climate change, the deficit in the electricity tariff ...
- Something is wrong in this country for the future of pensions is linked to the value of the flats.
As such, we never had this kind of lack mortgages and very bad things are going when we start to make needed now. What country are leaving for future generations?
